Meghan Schroeder took the oath of office to serve the people of the 29th Legislative District on Jan. 1, 2019.

She has been appointed to serve on the following House committees for the 2019-20 Legislative Session: Aging and Older Adult Services, Children and Youth, Education, and Transportation.

Meghan previously worked as a legislative aide and office manager for 10 years for former Rep. Bernie O’Neill. In this capacity, she worked closely with local government officials and small business leaders, as well as thousands of area residents, to learn what issues and concerns are most important to the people of the 29th Legislative District.

Among her top issues are school safety, a quality education for every child, preservation of Pennsylvania’s open space and reduction of the property tax burden plaguing the state’s senior population.

Meghan is a graduate of Central Bucks East High School and Millersville University. She and her husband, Kurt, reside in Buckingham on a permanently preserved farm with their daughter, Gianna.
