HARRISBURG – Rep. Meghan Schroeder (R-Bucks) congratulated Warwick Township on receiving funding to modernize the community park.
“Parks are an invaluable resource to our communities for many reasons, including physical, social and economic aspects,” Schroeder said. “Improving Warwick Community Park will help grow our community engagement and support the future of parks in surrounding neighborhoods.”
Warwick Township has received a $50,000 Community Conservation Partnership Program (C2P2) grant to renovate Warwick Community Park by updating the splash pad, installing water control system and utilities, implementing ADA access, new landscaping and various additional improvements.
C2P2 grants encourage the use and conservation of land through recreation, park and conservation projects or improvements. Project funds are granted through the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and are awarded to municipalities and authorized nonprofit organizations.
